Licensing deals with platforms expire all the time, so movies and shows you've been meaning to watch can vanish seemingly without warning. That's because Netflix doesn't own much of the content it streams. Its contracts with networks, production companies, and movie studios mean its programming constantly shifts. The Lego Movie (June 1) Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller punched their ticket to the big time with 2014's The Lego Movie, probably the best toy tie-in movie of all time. Capturing what makes the iconic construction toy so cool, it follows ordinary Joe Minifig Emmet as he tries to stop Lord Business from gluing everything together and stripping creativity from the world. The animation is great, the cast is tons of fun, and it gave us Will Arnett's first appearance as LEGO Batman. You May Also Like

Zac Efron is stellar as Kevin Von Erich, desperate to please his ruthless father but also terrified of the family curse catching up to him. What started out as a goofy excuse to get the greats of violent cinema past and future together in one action movie turned into a whole cinematic universe, plus a tie-in comic. These flicks are dumb as hell, upping the ante ever further with stunts and explosions.
